The Wedding Ceremony

This picture actually has a lot of symbolism and is one of my favorites. Here's what it means:

Backward Shadows: Signifies the death of the characters
Purple and black uniform: the man was a villian.
White and Blue dress: purity and innocence of the woman's soul
Red ribbons: Love, and blood shed, both by murdered and death.
Person in Tree: Person who "led" to the deaths of the couple (Fate)
Two cut Nooses in Tree: Criminal actions, treason. Also abrupt ending of life. One is somewhat longer than the other, to signify one died before the other.
Two fruits in Tree: the orphaned children of the villain and his wife.
Gravestone and Shadow: Connects the backwards shadows of the characters with death.
Sword in shadow: Death of the villainous knight
Dark hills/Sky: Leaving past life behind
Light Sky/Sun: New "life" after death
Road: Continuation of life into death and beyond
Positions of Couple: Shows their love, and their happiness to be united.
Red Shoes of Woman: She trod in death= suicide was her fate
Spiraling Branches: the circle of life continuing on
